Found a nice piece on creative goals over on the How Design blog. What I like about it is the variety of different types of creative professionals and their very different views on what’s important for the coming year. It’s also interesting how many of them seem to be wrestling with the same problems as creative non-professionals and aspiring professionals: things like insecurity, distraction, validation, and not having enough time.
Weird. It’s almost as if those challenges haven’t gone away just because they have successful careers. Could the implication be that they never go away at all and we have to find a way to accomplish our goals in spite of them?
Hmmm…there’s a thought.
