A Change of Everything
This blog used to be all about alternative energy and green building. Unfortunately, I did a very poor job of maintaining it. In light of the fact that my attention span is so annoyingly short, I've elected to make this blog somewhat less focused. I'll still talk about alt. energy, etc. but now you'll see posts about a number of different topics, as well.
It's not my intention for this to become another online diary. The subject matter will likely be somewhat scattershot in the beginning but as topics emerge and gain momentum I will organize the blog into different sections to keep things sane. This will take a little time. As a friend of mine who is fond of quoting sausage commercials often reminds me, "You can't rush great taste."
In truth, this new format is better aligned with the spirit of the hill for which this blog is named. The hill, in reality, is a place where a lot of ideas--big and small--were shared. It is a place where a lot of events of personal significance occured. The view of the world was different up there, and my view of the world was always a little different for having been there. My new goal is to make some of that happen in this blog.
You may have noticed a few minor changes so far. I put up some feed links and added a site meter, changed the description and my profile a bit. The next step will be cleaning up the links and some other window dressing to get the place ready for its new lease on life. It ain't much but it's a start. Hopefully you'll stay tuned.
